Pam Martin is the New Zealand based author of a book called Beneath the Knowledge Wave. Aimed at men and women, kids and older people alike, this groundbreaking book is based on Pams personal experiences in teaching people computer skills.
She outlines how ineffective many self-taught employees are in their use of computers in the workplace, often lacking the skills to properly use spreadsheets and programs. This results in a lot of time being wasted as the employee fumbles to find a solution. Pam believes that basic IT training should be a compulsary requirement of all modern employees.
